| | | | | | | | | | | | | Sheryl Jones: Line Pilot | | | Sheryl is a real asset to the Flight Corporation team. Sheryl has plenty of flying experience having been flying since 1992. Originally from America, Sheryl did her flight training in Fresno, California. Here she obtained a Commercial Pilot License and Instrument Rating and flew extensively around the Western United States. Sheryl moved to Nelson, New Zealand with her family in 1994. Sheryl is passionate about showing off our region from the air. She is a volunteer pilot for the Nelson Coastguard Air Patrol and has participated in many practice and real search and rescue missions in the South Island. Sheryl enjoys people and has a varied background in wine and travel. Her real passion is flying and she is currently working on completing her Flight Instructor Rating. |  | | | | | | | | | | | Pauline Leech: Quality Assurance Manager | | | Pauline joined the team with a vast knowledge of Quality Assurance and Quality Control. She has been involved in Quality roles since 1985 mainly in the food industry until she took on a role with the New Zealand Civil Aviation Authority as a Technical Specialist in 1999. This position lasted for 5 years and involved educating internal and external CAA customers about the exemption process within CAA, then conducting assessments of rule exemption inquiries. These skills have provided Pauline with a comprehensive understanding of the CAA rules structure and how it works. Pauline’s Quality and Aviation experience are complimentary to her position as Flight Corporation’s Quality Assurance Manager. Pauline holds a Private pilot’s License and has Commercial Pilot Exam credits. Not only does Pauline love being involved in the aviation industry but when time permits she also likes reading, cross-stitch, gardening, walking, cooking and playing with her dog Basil.
