Wes left his passport, tickets and clothing behind and Tony went above and beyond to drive to the Abel Tasman to get them so he made his international connection to San Francisco. General
Q. What happens if the weather is no good for flying? A. We will delay the flight until the weather improves. If this upsets any further connections you have (i.e. you are flying from Karamea to Nelson and need to meet an airline flight) we can suggest other modes of transport. These are usually more time consuming and may be too late for further connections. We strongly recommend a flexi airline ticket or a day up your sleeve for unforgiving weather.
Q. How much luggage can we bring? A. We allow a maximum of 15kgs per passenger and strongly recommend small soft luggage. If you need to store excess luggage we are more than happy to do this for you at our secure Nelson Airport Terminal office free of charge (this is at the owners risk) If you charter an aircraft and there is extra space available we are usually able to increase the luggage limit.

Q. What are the age brackets? A. Adult (over 12 years) Child (2-12 years) Infant (less than 2 years)
Q. Do you have parking available? A. There is plenty of parking available outside the Nelson Airport Terminal Building. There is short and long term parking available. Long term is approximately $5.00 per day per vehicle. If you need picked up and dropped off within the Nelson City area we offer a free courtesy coach.
Q. Do you offer courtesy transport? A. We can pick up and drop off our customers if within the Nelson City area in our free courtesy coach.
Q. What if I am a single customer wishing to take a flight? A. We can try to team you up with a flight that is already booked that has a spare seat available. We can offer this by teaming you up with the other customers or put you on an empty leg of a flight that has customers utilising the other leg.
Q. When do we pay? A. We require credit card details to hold your seats. The credit card must be valid up until the date of your travel. We do not process the transaction until the date of travel. All charter flights paid for by credit card incur a 2% charge.
Q. What do you mean by charter flight? A. A charter flight is when you hire the whole aircraft for your own use (i.e. similar to chartering a bus to take the football team away)
Q. How do we find you? A. Please see the "How To Find Us" page of our website for detailed maps. Our main base for operations is in the Main Nelson Airport Terminal Building. This is on your right if you have entered through the arrivals gate having disembarked an aircraft or on your left if you have entered from the main front entrance of the terminal.
Changes and Cancellation Policy If this booking is cancelled outside 5 days of travel a cancellation fee of $20 applies. If cancelled inside 5 days of travel a cancellation fee of $75 applies. If cancelled within 24 hours the full amount is deductible. For changes to your booking, no fee applies. For all weather related cancellations no charge applies. |
